From groceries to housing, almost everything is expensive in Canada these days. But if you’re a senior, you can at least take advantage of senior discount programs at certain businesses to save money.

Discount programs vary by company. While some businesses offer special discount days for seniors, others only require a valid ID. These discounts may not be available at all locations, so make sure to check ahead of time.

Additionally, it’s important to note that age requirements also vary by business: some places offer discounts to those 50 and older, while others only apply discounts if you are 65 or older.
