Canada may not have Disneyland, but a ranking reveals that there is still a destination considered the most magical in the country – Niagara Falls.

This title has been recognized in a new study by BonusFinder Canada, a website that compiled a list of Canadian destinations from travel publications such as Thrillist and Condé Nast Traveler to arrive at this result.

BonusFinder Canada also tracked the number of Instagram hashtags for each location and used TripAdvisor to collect reviews that mentioned terms like “magic,” “enchanting,” and “majestic,” then totaled the numbers.

According to the research, Niagara Falls received a score of 9.6 out of 10, with 317,000 Instagram hashtags and 1,161 mentions of related words like “magic.”

The report describes: “Located on the Niagara River, the falls are known for their thunderous, mesmerizing sound that can be heard from afar, creating an enchanting auditory experience.” While there are many different lists of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Niagara Falls remains a constant on these lists.

Right behind the tourist attraction is the stunning frozen Lake Louise in Alberta.

In third place is Lake Moraine, a neighbor of Lake Louise, with a score of 8.8 out of 10.

This ranking also includes other famous Canadian tourist destinations such as Capilano Suspension Bridge in B.C., Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia, and Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick.
