This top ranking was announced in the Readers’ Choice Awards on October 1, affirming Victoria as an ideal destination for tourism and conferences, standing alongside renowned cities like Porto, Bruges, and San Sebastian.
Condé Nast received more than 575,000 reviews from its readers, highlighting Victoria’s appeal to upscale travelers. This is reflected in the average hotel room rate rising to CAD 255.21, along with a strong increase in visitors and events this year.
Being recognized by Condé Nast will help Victoria continue attracting tourists and developing its tourism infrastructure in the future.
